Carmela Carreño

"I love helping people succeed!" Carmela's people-oriented personality and quest for "a better, smarter way" inspire her to navigate her client's projects with positivity, pride, and care. "I enjoy my position because it allows me to assist amazing people who are doing valuable work in my community. Relationships, productivity and a sense of accomplishment are what drive me." Carmela received her B.A. in Political Science from UCSB, after which time she worked with nonprofits such as United Way of Santa Barbara County and Just Communities Central Coast. She served on the board of the League of Women Voters of Santa Barbara and has volunteered for numerous community organizations. Outside of work, she can be found spending time with her family, lounging by the harbor or the beach, and dancing in studios throughout the L.A. area.

Jenna Dittmar

​Jenna Dittmar joins VISIONALITY after stints in operations management at swim schools and tech startups. Originally from Camarillo, she’s returned to Ventura County to apply her curiosity, common sense and love of processes to the nonprofit world. Jenna loves questions. They are the fuel and force behind her staunch work ethic. By asking the questions that no one else in the room has thought of, she is able to beautifully engineer realistic solutions to the most troublesome challenges. But she’s not all business. Jenna loves a good laugh, hanging out at the beach, surfing and spending time with her very fat cat.  

Emily Barany

Emily Barany has an insatiable need to solve problems, create efficient systems and empower people. In 2011 she launched VISIONALITY with a mission to help organizations dream big and a commitment to transform their dreams into reality. What’s Emily’s dream? She wants to be part of something BIG too – projects that are bigger than the people involved and causes that will change the world. Emily has been named one of the top 40 under 40 Business Leaders by the Pacific Coast Business Times; received Mayor Garcetti’s 2016 Small Business Recognition Award; is the 2018 Alumni of the Year for the Ventura County Leadership Academy; was awarded the 2018 Innovator of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners, Ventura County Chapter; 2018 Leadership Award by the Workforce Development Board  of Ventura County; and VISIONALITY was named the #1 best place to work by the Pacific Coast Business Times in 2018 & 2019. Emily is also a Board Member for the California Lutheran University Center for Nonprofit Leadership. Originally from Colorado, Emily graduated from California Lutheran University with majors in Communications and German and a minor in Philosophy. Emily loves doing agility with her best friend Scooter and baking complicated desserts to share with the people she loves. 

Krista Eulberg

After working at a major film studio, Krista Eulberg found herself losing her passion for the medium. That is when she decided to go back to her roots in the nonprofit world. Krista has a strong commitment to service and believes non-profits are where social and cultural change occur. Krista’s experience in film allowed her to develop a fervent ability to observe and ask questions – making her project management style approachable and innovative. Her questions often ignite ideas and fresh ways of implementing tasks. Krista holds a MFA in Film Production and a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts. On the weekends, you might find her and her dog, Drake, on a hike or on the couch with a good book.

Jenny Cardenas

Jenny Cardenas is happiest when she is working with people who are focused on service to the community. She has worked in the community services field for the cities of Anaheim, Long Beach and Lancaster. Much of her work has focused on partnering with nonprofits to provide youth programs in the communities she served. As an experienced professional and mother of twins, she has become known for being both perceptive and adaptable. Jenny earned her Master's of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University. Jenny loves bike rides and eating tacos at the beach with her husband John, and twins Wyatt and Eva.

Marcella Shelby, Ph.D.

Marcella loves people and has made a profession of helping people make their lives, families, businesses, and communities better.  Dr. Marcella Shelby has 15 years of experience working in economic development. As a nonprofit professional she has worked at the local, regional, state and national levels with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and elected officials throughout the country. Marcella currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at California Lutheran University and the Ventura County Community College District.  Marcella holds a Doctorate in Economic Development from New Mexico State University, a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University.  She is married and a mother of three boys ages 2, 4 and 16 years old.  Life with three boys keeps her busy and you will likely find her at a local playground or at the beach with her family any day of the week.

Llewellyn Somers

Llewellyn Somers excels at answering the question: “How can we do this better?” She is constantly envisioning ways to improve and elevate everything that she does. Although she is focused on details, Llewellyn is still able to see the big picture. Her colleagues describe her as insightful, passionate, and effective.  She is excited about working with organizations that improve the lives of the people they serve. Prior to joining VISIONALITY, she empowered entrepreneurs at Women’s Economic Ventures, taught middle school English in New York City, and worked in acquisitions for an academic publishing company. Llewellyn lives in Oxnard with her husband Tom and children Ebbett, Odella and Gregor.

Cecily Hendricks

Cecily Hendricks is a professional performer, planner, and director in all aspects of her life. After working with nonprofit organizations at local and international levels for more than ten years, she experienced first-hand the impact that nonprofits can make in communities around the world. After graduating with her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Westmont College and working in film & theatre, she embarked on a new career path where she could make a meaningful impact on her own community. Cecily excels at assisting clients to develop fundraising strategies and has coordinated fundraising campaigns and events that produce exponential monetary results. In her spare time, you will find Cecily renovating her 1910 house, learning lines for her next play, or playing with her puppy Scout.
